Charis Impact Academy (CIA) was born from the dream of growing a comprehensive network for learning and support beyond the four walls of the therapeutic space.

CIA came into existence through being Designed, Developed and Delivered by the passionate psychologists in Charis Psychological Services who saw a need for not only individual self-development, but also for a space where people can learn skills to effectively assist others in need in their society – leading to a further reaching IMPACT.

In this way CIA ultimately aims to take the benefits found in a psychotherapy session and provide it to our communities that may have not otherwise had the opportunity to experience it, through the training of apprentices.

This type of training can normally only be experienced by those students that are currently in training to be a psychologist at traditional universities.

By joining the CIA community, apprentices can expect to not only build a network of professionally trained psychologists they can consult with on supervisory or on referral matters, but they also have numerous opportunities to develop a foundation of support with other apprentices who share a similar need for growth and development.
